About Gallery X
Gallery X elevates both emerging and established artists within the Portland community. Throughout the year, we curate a diverse range of open-call shows; each centered around themes designed to encourage artists to experiment and step beyond their comfort zones.
Gallery X functions as an extension of ADX’s core mission, which revolves around breaking down barriers to artistic expression. Our open calls are operated on a zero-commission basis, and Gallery X firmly supports an artist-centric model where they can receive the entirety of the proceeds from their artwork.
ADX provides expertise, marketing, and promotions of the shows, coordination of food, beverages, and live music for First Fridays, and complete curation of the show. We have over 19.5k followers on Instagram and over 3,000 contacts that receive our newsletter.
