In the mid-1970s, as life unraveled for singer Nina Simone, an unexpected connection appeared: David Bowie. After a chance meeting, Bowie began calling her, offering something rare—bearing witness to her as both artist and human, without agenda—a shared humanity. 

Join artist, writer, and Skinfolk: The Society of Nonconformists creator Sharyll Burroughs for an interactive group performance in which the audience becomes the work—a constellation of witnessing where participants meet one another beyond role, assumption, or identity, opening into unexpected connection.
